ReSharper Solution-Wide Analysis

I re-installed ReSharper today after living without it for a few months.  The reason I originally uninstalled it was sort of an experiment to see if I had become too dependent on it.  I wanted to be sure that I could work without it, for the scenarios where I jump on other people's machines to code, or pair with other people that don't use ReSharper.  The result of my experiment is that I can live without and code just fine, but it's just so much better coding with it.

Anyway the point I'm trying to get to, which provoked this blog post, is that the Solution-Wide Analysis is awesome.  If you haven't seen it, you should go download and install ReSharper now.  Basically the Solution-Wide Analysis will monitor all code files in your solution, and as soon you get into a state where it will not compile (syntax errors, references incorrect, unknown methods/variables etc) you will be notified by a little red icon in the bottom right corner of Visual Studio.  When you fix the problem up, that icon will turn green and you are good to go again.

It's a very simple but excellent feature to have, as it cuts down the amount of times I compile my code drastically, therefore increasing my development speed.  ReSharper has many more code analysis, shortcuts and VS add-ins, which will improve your development experience, but this is by far my favourite.
